Forth Worth + Fashion = Nicholas Clements-Lindsey

If you never thought Fort Worth and Fashion belonged in the same sentence, then you must not have heard of Nicholas Clements-Lindsey.

Nicholas Clements-Lindsey presented his Spring/Summer 2010 collection ‘Criminal’ tonight during LA Fashion Week at Smashbox Studios.

The TCU graduate (that’s Texas Christian University) discovered his talent for fashion design while studying Italian literature and voice in Perugia. Inspired by the works of Edith Head and Oscar De La Renta, Nicholas' designs are uniquely his own.

Nicholas is on the fast track for success, making major moves in this business for an emerging designer. His first show was during Dallas Fashion Week only a year ago. Now this year, he presented at LA Fashion Week. Next year, he will be in the tents at Bryant Park for New York Fashion Week. Hint to the fashion world: Don’t Mess With Texas!

LIGHTS! CAMERA! FASHION! LA Defines Fashion Week On New Terms

Those programmed to jet set off to New York, Paris, London and Milan, may not get the free thinking, experimental, and rule breaking designers who showed during LA Fashion Week. With the entertainment industry as the backdrop, LA has the largest fashion district in the country, and the means for an emerging designer to create and market a collection.

eye*like*your*style tips their hat to those designers who create with the cool kids in mind.
